Massey is New Zealand’s only multi-campus university with sites in Auckland, Palmerston North (the original and still the largest) and Wellington. It is a large university with some 36,000 students, including those studying by distance learning. Founded some 80 years ago as an agricultural college, it is now a comprehensive university offering over 200 programmes across its five academic colleges: Business, Creative Arts, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. It offers the only veterinary science degree course in New Zealand.
